The CPR Cup 2022

Putting work on PAWS for the day!

What do you get if you challenge 12 competitive Resi Agents to a football tournament?

You get goals, banter, bags of laughs and a great day out. And most importantly, you raise £16,152 for Canine Partners. Now, we suspect you'll be asking who Canine Partners are? They're not a high-profile charity with big celebrity endorsements. But they are an amazing group of people who provide amazing assistance dogs that make an amazing difference in people's lives who really need it. You might say we think they're amazing!

For anyone in doubt as to why we don our trainers and break out the Deep Heat each year, listen to Nikki's story on the link below. You'll marvel and fall in love with Liggy the Labrador – we guarantee it!

So, before a report on the day's sporting achievements. A massive thanks from us at Collins Property Recruitment and Canine Partners to the players, supporters, sponsors, partners, dogs and everyone who gave their time to make the tournament happen. It was our most successful ever.

There's only one word for it -
phenomenal!

Final:

JLL (1) v Foxtons (6)

Player of the day

Goalkeeper for Beauchamp Estates, Alvis Sarkangalvis. The Powerleague referee said he made " unsavable saves" and was highly impressed!

The Atmosphere

The industry came together to do good without a black tie in sight, and the only awards came on the field of play. The banter was rich, competition good-natured and talk of the market kept strictly to the side-lines. The only pitch invasion came from a Labrador in the Keepy Uppy area who simply wanted to get involved!

What the pundits and players are saying:

Barry Collins, Collins Property Recruitment: "A massive well done to all the teams. The atmosphere on the day was incredible, and I am thrilled with the fantastic feedback. A special mention to JLL for making the final on a much-depleted squad and a massive congratulations to the winners, Foxtons. They were super!

Gaynor Jordan-Davis, Canine Partners: "We would like to thank Collins Property Recruitment and everyone involved in this year's 5-a-side charity football tournament. The CPR cup was a fantastic event with a friendly, competitive, and vibrant atmosphere. We are incredibly grateful to all those who raised tremendous funds for Canine Partners.

Callum Hodgson, Marsh & Parsons: "Win, lose or draw, it was fantastic to see so many companies and agents coming together to raise money for such a great cause. Thank you to Barry and the team for all the planning and efforts to make it such an amazing day. Already looking forward to the CPR Cup 2023."

Gareth Mawdsley, Foxtons: "After being unable to take part in group events for the last two years due to Covid, being able to play in the CPR cup again against all of the other agents was a welcome breath of fresh air!

Charlie Ellis JLL: "An incredible day ran by fantastic people and all for a very worthy cause. To say we are looking forward to the next one is an understatement!"

We look forward to welcoming more of you next year and launching a women's team event too. And as you plan next year's tactics and embark on your training regimes, remember, if the stands ain’t swaying, you ain’t playing!
