Collins Property Recruitment are delighted to sponsor Jeffrey – a life-changing Canine Partner assistance dog.

National charity Canine Partners- supports people with physical disabilities, helping them to enjoy a greater independence and quality of life, through the provision of specially trained assistance dogs. Each year we raise money for Canine Partners through our annual CPR Cup football tournament and we were extremely proud to present them with a cheque for £16,152 this year. 

Our sponsored dog Jeffrey is a male yellow Labrador born on 8th April 2019. Since we were first introduced to puppy Jeffrey in 2019, he has been through an extensive period of training, working hard to learn the skills he’ll need to help his future partner.  With the support of his trainer, we are delighted to let you know that he is now a fully-fledged Canine Partner. Well done Jeffrey!

He now lives with his disabled partner, assisting every day with practical tasks and companionship. Although it’s only been a few months Jeffrey is already making a difference, and his partner says, “Jeffrey is a lovely boy, confident, robust and strong.” 

We will continue to support Jeffrey with the funds raised from the 2023 CPR Cup and we’re hoping to sponsor another puppy, next year too. This puppy will be named Howard and some of the money raised from next year’s event will go towards his training, equipment, food, vet bills, insurance and transportation. 

It is great to see the money we raise being put towards such a good cause and this is the main reason we hold this event every year; to help change lives for the better.
