Collins Property Recruitment is working with an international property consultancy firm that works exclusively with private high-net-worth individuals and families, supporting them in all aspects of their property ownership, to recruit a Property Manager to join their team. This position will be based in the Fulham, South West London, office working with a fantastic team of skilled property professionals.
The firm have a distinctive blend of skills that enables them to provide a highly individual service to clients so that their requirements are met discreetly and confidentially.
In return, the successful Property Manager will receive £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Roles and Responsibilities of the Property Manager:
- Overall management of assigned client properties, following the agreed scope of services.
- Ensuring planned preventative maintenance procedures and contractor liabilities are met.
- Gain quotations where necessary for approval and handle all back of house administration.
- Efficient reporting to the client/client representative/family office of any completed works and ongoing concerns.
- Recruitment, management and HR of appointed household staff.
- Appointment of tried and trusted contractors, suitable for the task in hand.
- Processing of and ensuring due diligence of all invoices and financially related documents.
- Monitoring and ensuring all compliance and legislative responsibilities are met on behalf of the client, client staff and company.
- Daily liaison with and between the client/client rep/household staff, contractors, lawyers etc.
- Set up appropriate and preferred communication methods with the client and company to ensure efficient notification/reporting and updates.
- Ad hoc concierge services where previously agreed and required with the client or client’s team.
Skills and knowledge to be a successful Property Manager:
- Advise on all aspects of property management, including compliance with statute best practice.
- Ability to compartmentalise and process many individual and unrelated tasks at any one time.
- Scenarios are often presented with many varied and unique items that require specialist attention, the Property Manager must be capable of processing and prioritizing these accordingly.
- Experience with either Private Households (ideal) or experience managing high-end residential properties in a fast-paced environment.
- Experienced and comfortable working with multinational clients, family offices, and staff.
- Comfortable working in challenging and pressured scenarios.
- Good technical knowledge and understanding of complicated systems.
- Presentable, discreet, and of a calm disposition.
